December 17, 2002
Each December we bring together a panel of courageous people to tell us what they see in Colorado employment trends. Then, we ask them to predict the next year. Back in the late 1900s, the year before a shortage of technology workers showed up in the market, the RMIMA employment panel predicted a shortage of mainframe programmers, in addition to other technologies. In December, 2000 the panel predicted a softening of the market in 2001. That was an understatement, but they saw it coming. Our panel moderator will read last year's predictions for 2002 and compare them to reality. Finally, we will ask panelists to look into their crystal balls and predict technology employment Colorado.
