are not? 2010 will be a challenging year for some skills,
but others are in strong demand. The economy is not pretty
today, but what are the trends? Each year we assemble a
panel of industry and government experts to explore the
probabilities, making their predictions for the new year.

Alexandra Hall, Colorado's Chief Economist

Matt Rutherford, University of Denver
Dr.
Rutherford is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science
at the University of Denver and the CTO of MaxAccel, a
small SaaS company servicing the railroad industry. His
research interests are in software engineering and
security of distributed, parallel and embedded systems,
with a particular focus on software testing and security
evaluation. Prior to joining DU, Dr. Rutherford worked
for 12 years as a software engineer and started two
companies (including MaxAccel). |
Chas Bollow, Vice President, Triad
Consultants
Chas
Bollow is the VP of Operations and Service Delivery
Manager for TRIAD Consultants in Denver Colorado. Chas
has worked for Keane as an IT Consultant, with Ajilon as
a Recruiting Manager and Account Manager and as an IT
Manager for a brokerage house. He has been on all sides
of the hiring equation and knows the pain of hiring
staff, looking for a job, and recruiting. Chas has a
total of 20 years of experience in the IT industry with
a total of 14 years in the IT Staffing & Consulting
industry.
Chas was born and raised in
upstate New York before moving to Boulder Colorado in
July of 1999. He is married and he and his wife enjoy
all the activities that Colorado offers.
