Social Media - Part 2

Back by popular demand.  Last month Brian Vickery painted the picture of how social media has changed the face of the Internet, and what to do about it.  We asked him back for part 2. This affects every company and every career.  Things have changed.  No longer is the passive medium where you build a page and they will come.  No longer are you in control of what is being said about you and your company.  You need to pay attention, and you need to create the buzz.

Brian Vickery is the EVP/GM of the Rocky Mountain Region and a founding principal of Mantis Technology Group. Mantis is a software solution provider incorporating application development, business intelligence and social media strategy. Brian focuses on business intelligence implementations from a data architecture, integration and reporting perspective. He is also a champion for social media adoption at both the personal and corporate level as well as the need for social media monitoring for brand protection and loyalty.
